– الألعاب المختلفة في الأندية ليست ملكاً للمديرين التنفيذيين أو اللجان التنفيذية التي تشكلها مجالس أو شركات الأندية، بل هي ملك للكيانات وللجماهير، وهي إرث تاريخي. ومجرد التفكير في إلغاء هذه الألعاب هو خط أحمر لا يجب الاقتراب منه، ويمثل كارثة بحق النادي.

– ⁠والمفترض من وزارة الرياضة أن تتخذ قراراً بعدم منح صلاحيات إلغاء الألعاب المختلفة للمديرين التنفيذيين، الذين ينهون حقيقةً تاريخ هذه الألعاب التي تمثل جزءاً رئيسياً من الرياضة السعودية؛ فالأندية أُنشئت من أجل مجموعة أهداف، على رأسها رفع مستوى هذه الألعاب التي تعد في النهاية المصدر الرئيسي للمنتخبات الوطنية في كافة الألعاب المختلفة.

– إن المديرين التنفيذيين واللجان التنفيذية خاصة في الأندية التي تم تخصيصها أهمَلوا بشكل واضح الألعاب المختلفة، باستثناء بعض الأندية التي حرصت على تطوير ألعابها المختلفة، ومنها نادي «العلا» الذي طوّر حقيقةً بعض الألعاب ومنها كرة السلة. لكن في الجانب المقابل، ألغت بعض الأندية اللعبة للفريق الأول لكرة السلة مثل نادي «الهلال»، وكان القرار صدمة للكثير من المتابعين بعد أن تربع النادي على عرش البطولات، وجاء الإلغاء بحجة عدم القدرة على تغطية مصاريف الفريق الأول. ميزانية كرة السلة للفريق الأول لبعض الأندية لا تتجاوز 8 ملايين ريال إذا كان الفريق ينافس على البطولات، فهل يعقل أن يُلغى هذا المبلغ للعبة في نادٍ يمتلك تاريخاً وإرثاً كبيراً فيها؟!

– نعم، الأندية تم تخصيصها ولكنها ليست ملكاً لأشخاص ينهون لعبة لها جماهيرها ومحبوها. التركيز على كرة القدم لا يُفترض أن يلغي الألعاب المختلفة، ويمكن لهذه الأندية عمل إدارات منفصلة لها، وجلب رعاة يتكفلون بمصاريفها، بل إنني أعرف جيداً أن بعض الأندية يقوم جزء كبير من ميزانيتها على دعم بعض أعضاء الشرف والمحبين.

– وجاء خبر صحيفة «عكاظ» عن وجود فكرة لدى إدارة النادي «الأهلي» لإلغاء الألعاب المختلفة في النادي كافة والاكتفاء بلعبة كرة القدم؛ وإذا قررت الإدارة ذلك فعلاً، فإنها تهدم مسيرة حافلة بالبطولات والإنجازات لهذا الكيان الذي عُرف عنه أنه الأفضل على مستوى الأندية السعودية في كافة الألعاب الرياضية. إنه قرار صادم بمجرد التفكير به، فهل يعقل لنادٍ بحجم الأهلي أن يتم إلغاء، أو مجرد التفكير في إلغاء، هذه الألعاب التي كانت مصدر قوة للمنتخبات السعودية في كافة المحافل؟

– يا وزارة الرياضة، هل تبحثون عن تطوير الألعاب المختلفة وأن تصبح هذه الألعاب منافسة عالمياً، أم تحويل هذه الأندية إلى كرة قدم فقط؟ ولننظر حياداً إلى هذا الحال؛ فالألعاب المختلفة تراجعت كثيراً بعد تطبيق الحوكمة، وكثير من إدارات الأندية أهملت هذه الألعاب، وهذا أثّر سلباً على المنتخبات في المنافسات الدولية. إذا أردنا تقييم وضع الألعاب المختلفة، يجب أن يتم دراسة هذا التراجع المخيف، وأن لا تصبح الأندية تحت رحمة مديرين تنفيذيين لا يفكرون إلا في جانب واحد فقط وهو جانب كرة القدم، وتقليص المصروفات على الألعاب المختلفة لحسابها.

– الألعاب المختلفة في الأندية ليست في أفضل حالاتها، ويجب أن يكون هناك تقييم ودراسة ومراجعة لأسباب تخلي إدارات الأندية عن هذه الألعاب التي فقدت جزءاً كبيراً من وضعها وهيبتها. يجب أن لا نسمح لمديرين تنفيذيين أو لجان تنفيذية بإلغاء هذه الألعاب، لأنها في النهاية جزء لا يتجزأ من الرياضة، والهدف الرئيسي هو توسيع رقعة المنافسة للأندية في جميع الألعاب، واحتضان المواهب والاستفادة منها في المنتخبات الوطنية.

– تكرماً، لا تقتلوا الألعاب المختلفة بحجة عدم الاستفادة منها أو عدم وجود مردود مالي لها، فالهدف أكبر وأعمق من ذلك بكثير؛ الهدف هو أن نصل بالرياضة في السعودية إلى أبعد مدى ممكن على المستويين القاري والدولي، والألعاب المختلفة تعتبر من أدوات القوة الناعمة، وتمثل جزءاً من حضارات الدول.. تكرماً، ارفقوا بهذه الألعاب واعملوا على تطويرها بدلاً من التفكير في إلغائها.

– The various sports in clubs do not belong to the executive directors or the executive committees formed by the boards or companies of the clubs; they belong to the entities and the fans, and they are a historical legacy. Just the thought of canceling these sports is a red line that should not be approached, and it represents a true disaster for the club.

– The Ministry of Sports is supposed to make a decision not to grant the authority to cancel various sports to the executive directors, who are effectively ending the history of these sports that represent a major part of Saudi sports; clubs were established for a set of goals, the foremost of which is to elevate the level of these sports, which are ultimately the main source for national teams in all various sports.

– Executive directors and executive committees, especially in the clubs that have been privatized, have clearly neglected various sports, except for some clubs that have been keen to develop their different sports, including Al-Ula Club, which has indeed developed some sports, including basketball. However, on the other hand, some clubs have canceled the first team basketball game, such as Al-Hilal Club, and the decision was a shock to many followers after the club had dominated the championships. The cancellation came under the pretext of being unable to cover the expenses of the first team. The budget for basketball for the first team in some clubs does not exceed 8 million riyals if the team is competing for championships, so is it reasonable to cancel this amount for a sport in a club that has a significant history and legacy in it?

– Yes, the clubs have been privatized, but they do not belong to individuals who end a sport that has its fans and lovers. The focus on football should not eliminate various sports, and these clubs can create separate administrations for them and bring in sponsors to cover their expenses. In fact, I know well that a large part of some clubs’ budgets relies on support from certain honorary members and fans.

– The news from Okaz newspaper about the idea within Al-Ahli Club’s management to cancel all various sports in the club and only focus on football; if the management indeed decides this, it would destroy a rich history of championships and achievements for this entity, which is known to be the best among Saudi clubs in all sports. It is a shocking decision just to think about it. Is it conceivable for a club the size of Al-Ahli to cancel, or even just consider canceling, these sports that have been a source of strength for Saudi teams in all arenas?

– Oh Ministry of Sports, are you looking to develop various sports and make them competitive globally, or to turn these clubs into just football? Let’s look neutrally at this situation; various sports have significantly declined after the implementation of governance, and many club administrations have neglected these sports, which has negatively affected the national teams in international competitions. If we want to evaluate the status of various sports, we must study this alarming decline, and clubs should not be at the mercy of executive directors who think only of one aspect, which is football, and reduce expenses for various sports at its expense.

– Various sports in clubs are not in their best condition, and there should be an evaluation, study, and review of the reasons for the abandonment of these sports by club administrations, which have lost a significant part of their status and prestige. We must not allow executive directors or executive committees to cancel these sports, as they are ultimately an integral part of sports, and the main goal is to expand the competition for clubs in all sports, and to embrace talents and benefit from them in national teams.

– Please, do not kill various sports under the pretext of not benefiting from them or not having financial returns; the goal is much larger and deeper than that; the goal is to take sports in Saudi Arabia as far as possible on both the continental and international levels, and various sports are considered tools of soft power and represent a part of the civilizations of countries. Please, take care of these sports and work on developing them instead of thinking about canceling them.
