تشهد مناطق واسعة في جنوب شرقي كوريا الجنوبية موجة حر غير مسبوقة، دفعت هيئة الأرصاد الجوية إلى إصدار أعلى مستوى من التحذيرات، في خطوة تعكس خطورة الارتفاع الكبير في درجات الحرارة خلال الأيام الأخيرة.

وتركّزت التحذيرات في مدينة دايغو والمناطق المحيطة بها، بما في ذلك غيونغسان وتشونغدو، إضافة إلى مدينتي بوهانغ وغيونغجو الساحليتين، حيث سجّلت المحطات المناخية درجات حرارة لاهبة تجاوزت المعدلات الموسمية بشكل لافت.
وبحسب وكالة (يونهاب)، بلغت الحرارة في غيونغجو 38.4 درجة مئوية، فيما سجّلت دايغو 35.4 درجة، ووصلت في بوهانغ إلى 32.1 درجة، وسط توقعات باستمرار الارتفاع خلال الساعات المقبلة.
ويُعد هذا التحذير الأشد منذ اعتماد النظام الجديد للتنبيه من موجات الحر مطلع يونيو، الذي يهدف إلى رفع جاهزية السكان والجهات الصحية للتعامل مع الظروف المناخية القاسية.
وتُصدر هيئة الأرصاد أعلى مستوى من التحذير عندما يُتوقع أن تتجاوز الحرارة العظمى 39 درجة مئوية، في المناطق التي شهدت حرارة محسوسة لا تقل عن 35 درجة لمدة يومين متتاليين، وهو ما ينطبق على عدة مدن في الإقليم الجنوبي الشرقي. وتوصي السلطات السكان بتجنّب الأنشطة الخارجية خلال النهار، والإكثار من السوائل، والبقاء في أماكن مكيفة قدر الإمكان، في ظل مخاوف من ارتفاع حالات الإجهاد الحراري وضربات الشمس.
Wide areas in the southeastern region of South Korea are experiencing an unprecedented heatwave, prompting the meteorological agency to issue the highest level of warnings, reflecting the seriousness of the significant rise in temperatures in recent days.
The warnings are concentrated in the city of Daegu and its surrounding areas, including Gyeongsan and Chungdo, as well as the coastal cities of Pohang and Gyeongju, where weather stations have recorded scorching temperatures that have notably exceeded seasonal averages.

According to Yonhap News Agency, temperatures in Gyeongju reached 38.4 degrees Celsius, while Daegu recorded 35.4 degrees, and Pohang reached 32.1 degrees, with expectations of continued increases in the coming hours.
This warning is the most severe since the new heatwave alert system was implemented in early June, which aims to enhance the readiness of residents and health authorities to deal with extreme weather conditions.
The meteorological agency issues the highest level of warning when maximum temperatures are expected to exceed 39 degrees Celsius in areas that have experienced a felt temperature of no less than 35 degrees for two consecutive days, which applies to several cities in the southeastern region. Authorities recommend that residents avoid outdoor activities during the day, increase fluid intake, and stay in air-conditioned places as much as possible, amid concerns about rising cases of heat stress and heat strokes.
