أجلت السلطات الإسبانية مساء الأربعاء، سكان 12 قرية بعد اندلاع حريق غابات كبير في متنزه وطني على الحدود مع البرتغال، بينما حذر رئيس الوزراء الإسباني بيدرو سانشيز من وضع بالغ الخطورة بسبب الحرائق.

واندلع الحريق بالقرب من بلدة فيرموسيلي في متنزه أريبس ديل دويرو الوطني الواقع في منطقة قشتالة وليون شمال غربي البلاد، كما فرضت السلطات أوامر بالبقاء في المنازل على سكان قريتين مجاورتين بسبب الخطر الذي يهددهم، بحسب الحكومة الإقليمية.
ونقلت وسائل إعلام إسبانية إعلان قوات الحرس المدني إجلاء نحو 950 شخصًا من المنطقة المتضررة، بينهم نزلاء دار لرعاية المسنين في بلدة موجا دي ساياجو.
وأوضح رئيس الوزراء، أن إسبانيا تكافح حاليًا 10 حرائق غابات متفاوتة الشدة، داعيًا المواطنين إلى توخي أقصى درجات الحذر، في ظل توقعات باستمرار موجة حر جديدة حتى يوم الأحد.
The Spanish authorities evacuated residents of 12 villages on Wednesday evening after a large forest fire broke out in a national park on the border with Portugal, while Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez warned of a highly dangerous situation due to the fires.

The fire erupted near the town of Fermoselle in the Arribes del Duero National Park located in the Castile and León region in the northwest of the country. Authorities also issued stay-at-home orders for residents of two nearby villages due to the threat they face, according to the regional government.
Spanish media reported the Civil Guard’s announcement of the evacuation of about 950 people from the affected area, including residents of a nursing home in the town of Muga de Sayago.
The Prime Minister explained that Spain is currently battling 10 forest fires of varying intensity, urging citizens to exercise the utmost caution, amid forecasts of a new heatwave expected to last until Sunday.
