إمام جامع أوتاوا يروي لـ «عكاظ» كيف جمع رأسين بالحلال – أخبار السعودية

لم يجد الحاج الكندي عبدالله عبدالسلام، إمام أحد الجوامع في مدينة أوتاوا الكندية، طريقة يعبّر فيها عن المشهد الذي يعيشه إلا الدموع، التي فاضت من عينيه لتعلن تأثره عند رؤيته الكعبة المشرفة للمرة الأولى. وقال: إن تلك اللحظة ستظل من أبرز محطات حياته الإيمانية.

ويشير عبدالله إلى أنه يؤدي مناسك الحج هذا العام ضمن من اصطفاهم الله ليقفوا في المشاعر المقدسة، حاجاً لأول مرة في حياته.

«عندما وقعت عيني على الكعبة المشرفة للمرة الأولى تعثر الكلام، وسابقتني الدموع، وشعرت بسكينة وطمأنينة لا توصف، وكأن القلب وجد ما كان يبحث عنه طوال سنوات». وتحدث الحاج عبدالله عن تجربته الدعوية في كندا، مستذكراً موقفاً مؤثراً مع زوجين زارا المسجد الذي يؤمّه في أوتاوا أياماً متتالية، فكانا يطرحان أسئلة حول الإسلام وتعاليمه السمحة: «كنت أجيب عن تساؤلاتهما وأبيّن لهما سماحة الإسلام ووسطيته، وفي اليوم الرابع عادا إليّ وأعلنا رغبتهما في الدخول في الإسلام، وكانت لحظة مؤثرة ومليئة بالفرح».

وأضاف: «بعد إسلامهما طلب الشاب الزواج وفق الشريعة الإسلامية، فقمت بالتواصل مع ولي أمر الفتاة، وبموافقته تم عقد القران في أجواء مفعمة بالفرح، وكانت تجربة مؤثرة عكست أثر الدعوة بالحكمة والموعظة الحسنة».

وأشار عبدالله إلى أن السعودية تقوم بدور محوري في دعم العمل الدعوي ونشر قيم الاعتدال والوسطية حول العالم، إلى جانب جهودها الكبيرة في خدمة الإسلام والمسلمين ورعاية المساجد والمراكز الإسلامية.

He said that this moment would remain one of the most significant milestones in his spiritual life.

Abdullah points out that he is performing the Hajj this year among those whom God has chosen to stand in the holy sites, making his pilgrimage for the first time in his life.

“When my eyes fell upon the Holy Kaaba for the first time, I was at a loss for words, and tears overwhelmed me. I felt an indescribable peace and tranquility, as if my heart had found what it had been searching for all these years.” He spoke about his outreach experience in Canada, recalling a touching moment with a couple who visited the mosque he leads in Ottawa for several consecutive days, asking questions about Islam and its gentle teachings: “I answered their questions and explained to them the tolerance and moderation of Islam, and on the fourth day, they returned to me and announced their desire to embrace Islam, which was a moving moment filled with joy.”

He added: “After their conversion, the young man requested to marry according to Islamic law, so I contacted the girl’s guardian, and with his approval, the marriage contract was concluded in a joyful atmosphere, and it was an impactful experience that reflected the effect of calling to Islam with wisdom and good advice.”

Abdullah pointed out that Saudi Arabia plays a pivotal role in supporting the outreach work and spreading the values of moderation and balance around the world, alongside its significant efforts in serving Islam and Muslims and caring for mosques and Islamic centers.
