لم أكن يوماً من الأيام على وفاق مع كل من يرمي الهلال بفرية الدلال، ولم أكن يوماً من الأيام ضد زعامة الهلال بقدر ما كنت ضد بعض وليس كل إعلامه، وهذا طبيعي طالما هناك رأي ورأي آخر، والضدية ليست بالضرورة أن تصل لمرحلة الشجار.

أحتفظ للهلال في ذاكرتي الإعلامية بنثرٍ كتبته أنا، وبشعرٍ وجدت بعضه في إرث إبراهيم خفاجي وكله في مدرج كتب له محمد الكثيري أجمل العبارات، كيف لا وهو الثابت والبقية متحركون.

صدق أو لا تصدق في موسم إخفاقه حقق كأس الملك فغضب جمهوره.

الهلال لا يغضب إن دافعت عن ناديك ولا ينتقص من نادٍ بسبب تجاوز فرد.

الكيانات عند الهلال خط أحمر، وهنا مكمن أدبيات أسس وتأسس عليها.

وما يقال عن الهلال ينسحب أو ينطبق على الأهلي الذي يمثل الوجه الجميل لرياضة وطن.. كيف لا وهو سفيرها.

الأخلاقيات والمبادئ إرث وموروث في الأهلي والهلال، وينبغي أن تسود في كل الأندية، لكن حتى تسود يجب أن يكون هناك إرادة من النادي نفسه.

للأسف بعض الأندية اختطفها فكر بالٍ يقوده جيل يبحث عن مشاهدات والضحية النادي.

هذا الفكر أصبح يمثل النادي أكثر مما يمثل نفسه، وهذه من أسباب دخول النادي صراعات تقتص منه وتأخذه إلى معارك لا ذنب له فيها.

وصل بهم الحال أن يتبنوا خطابات عدائية باسم الكيان، ولا أعلم من منحهم هذا الحق، لكنني أدري أن التصحيح يجب أن يتم أو أن هذه الأندية لن تفلح في تأدية رسالتها كما يحدث في الأهلي والهلال.

أخذت الأهلي والهلال كأنموذج ولا أقلل من البقية بقدر ما أنبه إلى ضرورة حماية الكيانات من متسلقين أخذوا بعضها إلى معارك لا تشبهها.

ومضة:

‏ترفق على الوافين وتهدّي شوي

‏وليت الظروف اللي تمر النشامى

‏تمر ناس لا نشاما ولا شي»..

I have never been in agreement with anyone who accuses Al-Hilal of being spoiled, nor have I ever been against Al-Hilal’s leadership as much as I have been against some, not all, of its media. This is natural as long as there are differing opinions, and opposition does not necessarily have to escalate to the point of conflict.

I hold Al-Hilal in my media memory with prose that I have written, and with poetry that I found some of in the legacy of Ibrahim Khafaji, all of which was in a stand where Muhammad Al-Kathiri wrote the most beautiful phrases for it. How could it not be so, as it remains steadfast while the rest are in motion.

Believe it or not, in a season of failure, it won the King’s Cup, which angered its fans.

Al-Hilal does not get angry if you defend your club, nor does it belittle another club because of an individual’s transgression.

Entities at Al-Hilal are a red line, and here lies the essence of the principles it was founded upon.

What is said about Al-Hilal applies to Al-Ahli, which represents the beautiful face of the nation’s sport… how could it not be so, as it is its ambassador.

Ethics and principles are a legacy in Al-Ahli and Al-Hilal, and they should prevail in all clubs, but for them to prevail, there must be a will from the club itself.

Unfortunately, some clubs have been hijacked by an outdated mentality led by a generation seeking views, and the victim is the club.

This mentality has come to represent the club more than it represents itself, and this is one of the reasons the club enters into conflicts that it has no fault in.

They have reached a point where they adopt hostile rhetoric in the name of the entity, and I do not know who granted them this right, but I know that correction must take place, or these clubs will not succeed in fulfilling their message as happens with Al-Ahli and Al-Hilal.

I have taken Al-Ahli and Al-Hilal as a model, and I do not diminish the others as much as I emphasize the necessity of protecting entities from climbers who have taken some of them into battles that do not resemble them.
