الجولة الثانية.. عقدة مونديالية تلاحق «الأخضر» منذ 1994 – أخبار السعودية

تواصل الجولة الثانية من نهائيات كأس العالم تشكيل عقدة خاصة للمنتخب السعودي، بعدما تلقى خسارة جديدة أمام إسبانيا بنتيجة 4-0 في مونديال 2026، ليبقى انتصاره الوحيد في هذه المرحلة من البطولة يعود إلى نسخة 1994.

وتُظهر الأرقام صعوبة مواجهات «الأخضر» في الجولة الثانية عبر مشاركاته المونديالية، إذ خاض سبع مباريات حقق خلالها فوزاً واحداً فقط، مقابل ستّ هزائم.

وجاء الانتصار الوحيد على حساب المغرب بنتيجة 2-1 في مونديال الولايات المتحدة 1994، فيما تعرض بعدها لسلسلة من النتائج السلبية أمام فرنسا (1998)، والكاميرون (2002)، وأوكرانيا (2006)، والأوروغواي (2018)، وبولندا (2022)، وأخيراً إسبانيا في نسخة 2026.

وعلى الصعيد التهديفي، سجل المنتخب السعودي هدفين فقط في مباريات الجولة الثانية عبر جميع مشاركاته في كأس العالم، مقابل استقبال شباكه 16 هدفاً، وهو ما يعكس المعاناة التي واجهها «الأخضر» في هذه المرحلة من البطولة على مدار السنوات الماضية.

وسيبحث المنتخب السعودي عن تحسين هذه الأرقام عندما يختتم مشواره في دور المجموعات بمواجهة الرأس الأخضر، أملاً في تحقيق نتيجة إيجابية تعيد التوازن بعد الخسارة الثقيلة أمام «الماتادور» الأسباني.

In terms of scoring, the Saudi national team has only scored two goals in the second round matches across all their World Cup participations, while conceding 16 goals, reflecting the struggles that “Al-Akhdar” has faced in this stage of the tournament over the past years.

The Saudi national team will seek to improve these numbers when they conclude their group stage journey against Cape Verde, hoping to achieve a positive result that restores balance after the heavy defeat against the Spanish “matador.”
