المملكة تؤكد دعمها لاستقرار السودان وتدعو إلى وقف دائم لإطلاق النار – أخبار السعودية

أكدت المملكة العربية السعودية، أن أولويتها تتمثّل في تحقيق الاستقرار في السودان، ووقف إطلاق النار، والحفاظ على وحدة أراضيه ومؤسسات الدولة، مشددةً على أن حل الأزمة يجب أن يكون سياسياً بقيادة السودانيين أنفسهم.

جاء ذلك، في كلمة ألقاها المندوب الدائم للمملكة لدى الأمم المتحدة السفير الدكتور عبدالعزيز الواصل، خلال جلسة لمجلس الأمن خُصصت لمناقشة تطورات الأوضاع في السودان.

وأوضح الواصل، أن استمرار النزاع والانفلات الأمني، إلى جانب عدم تنفيذ مخرجات إعلان جدة وقرارات مجلس الأمن ذات الصلة، أسهم في تفاقم الأزمة الإنسانية التي يشهدها السودان، مؤكداً حرص المملكة على إنهاء الصراع وتقريب وجهات النظر بين الأطراف السودانية واستئناف الحوار السياسي استناداً إلى إعلان جدة.

كما دان استهداف قوافل الإغاثة والجرائم المرتكبة في مدينة الفاشر، معرباً عن قلق المملكة إزاء الخسائر البشرية والإنسانية الناجمة عن استمرار النزاع. وجدّد السفير الواصل رفض المملكة لأي إجراءات تمس وحدة السودان أو مؤسساته، مرحباً بالجهود الإقليمية والدولية الرامية إلى التوصل إلى وقف دائم لإطلاق النار، ومؤكداً استمرار المملكة في تقديم المساعدات الإنسانية للشعب السوداني.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia confirmed that its priority is to achieve stability in Sudan, ceasefire, and maintain the territorial integrity and state institutions, emphasizing that the solution to the crisis must be political and led by the Sudanese themselves.

This was stated in a speech delivered by the Kingdom’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Wasel, during a Security Council session dedicated to discussing the developments in Sudan.

Al-Wasel explained that the continuation of the conflict and security breakdown, along with the failure to implement the outcomes of the Jeddah Declaration and relevant Security Council resolutions, has contributed to the worsening humanitarian crisis in Sudan, reaffirming the Kingdom’s commitment to ending the conflict, bridging the gaps between the Sudanese parties, and resuming political dialogue based on the Jeddah Declaration.

He also condemned the targeting of relief convoys and the crimes committed in the city of El Fasher, expressing the Kingdom’s concern over the human and humanitarian losses resulting from the ongoing conflict. The ambassador reiterated the Kingdom’s rejection of any measures that affect the unity of Sudan or its institutions, welcoming regional and international efforts aimed at achieving a permanent ceasefire, and affirming the Kingdom’s continued provision of humanitarian assistance to the Sudanese people.
