استضاف البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن في مقره بمدينة الرياض، (اليوم الثلاثاء)، اجتماع مجموعة شركاء اليمن، الذي عُقد برئاسة مشتركة بين المملكة المتحدة، ومكتب المنسق المقيم للأمم المتحدة في اليمن، ومجموعة البنك الدولي.
جاء الاجتماع تجسيداً لأهمية العمل المشترك بين شركاء التنمية؛ بوصفه ركيزة لتعزيز الأثر التنموي، وتبادل الخبرات، وتنسيق الجهود بما يسهم في الاستجابة للحاجات التنموية.
وبحث اجتماع مجموعة شركاء اليمن التحديات والمستجدات التنموية في اليمن، وسبل تعزيز التعاون بين الشركاء إلى جانب مناقشة الخطط الداعمة لتسريع العملية التنموية بما يدفع بجهود السلام والاستقرار في الجمهورية اليمنية.
وأوضح مساعد المشرف العام على البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن المهندس حسن العطاس، خلال الاجتماع، أن البرنامج يواصل توسيع نطاق أثره التنموي؛ إذ دشّن خلال النصف الأول من عام 2026 حزمة من المشاريع التنموية الحيوية بقيمة 1.9 بليون ريال سعودي، وقدّم دعماً للموازنة اليمنية بمبلغ 1.3 بليون ريال لتغطية النفقات التشغيلية والرواتب، إلى جانب دعم المشتقات لتغذية أكثر من 70 محطة لتوليد الكهرباء في جميع المحافظات اليمنية، وذلك بالتوازي مع مواصلة تنفيذ مشاريع ومبادرات تنموية بالشراكة مع المنظمات الدولية والمؤسسات التنموية، بما يعكس نهجاً يقوم على تكامل الجهود وتعزيز الأثر، بما يحقق نتائج أكثر استدامة.
يذكر أن البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن قدم 287 مشروعاً ومبادرة منذ تأسيسه في ثمانية قطاعات حيوية؛ وهي: التعليم، والصحة، والطاقة، والمياه والنقل، والزراعة والثروة السمكية، والبرامج التنموية، وتنمية ودعم قدرات الحكومة اليمنية.
The Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen hosted the Yemen Partners Group meeting today (Tuesday) at its headquarters in Riyadh, co-chaired by the United Kingdom, the United Nations Resident Coordinator’s Office in Yemen, and the World Bank Group.
The meeting embodied the importance of joint work among development partners as a cornerstone for enhancing developmental impact, exchanging experiences, and coordinating efforts to respond to developmental needs.
The Yemen Partners Group meeting discussed the challenges and developmental updates in Yemen, ways to enhance cooperation among partners, as well as discussing supportive plans to accelerate the developmental process, which would advance peace and stability efforts in the Republic of Yemen.
The Assistant Supervisor General of the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, Engineer Hassan Al-Attas, clarified during the meeting that the program continues to expand its developmental impact; having launched a package of vital developmental projects worth 1.9 billion Saudi Riyals in the first half of 2026, and provided support to the Yemeni budget amounting to 1.3 billion Riyals to cover operational expenses and salaries, in addition to supporting fuel supplies to feed more than 70 power generation stations across all Yemeni governorates, while continuing to implement developmental projects and initiatives in partnership with international organizations and developmental institutions, reflecting an approach based on the integration of efforts and enhancing impact to achieve more sustainable results.
It is noteworthy that the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen has presented 287 projects and initiatives since its establishment in eight vital sectors: education, health, energy, water and transport, agriculture and fisheries, developmental programs, and the development and support of the capabilities of the Yemeni government.
