وفرة عالية في الأضاحي لتلبية حاجات الحج – أخبار السعودية

كشفت وزارة البيئة وفرةً إنتاجيةً عاليةً في قطاع الثروة الحيوانية بما يُسهم في تعزيز قدرة الأسواق المحلية على تلبية الطلب المتزايد للحجاج، ويضمن توفر حاجاتهم من الأضاحي بجودة عالية.

وأشارت إلى أن القطاع يضم أكثر من 22 مليون رأس من الضأن، ونحو 7.6 ملايين رأس من الماعز، وأكثر من 2.2 مليون رأس من الإبل، إلى جانب ما يزيد على 510 آلاف رأس من البقر.

وأكدت الوزارة جاهزية الأسواق المحلية والمسالخ في مكة المكرمة لتلبية حاجات الحجاج، وسط وفرة في المعروض وجودة عالية في الإنتاج المحلي، بما يسهم في استقرار الأسواق وتوفير خيارات متنوعة للمستهلكين، منوهة باستمرار جهودها الرقابية والميدانية خلال موسم الحج، عبر تكثيف الجولات التفتيشية والزيارات الميدانية على أسواق النفع العام والمسالخ والمنشآت ذات العلاقة؛ لضمان وفرة المعروض، والتزام العاملين بالاشتراطات الصحية والفنية والأنظمة المعتمدة.

The Ministry of Environment has revealed a high production abundance in the livestock sector, which contributes to enhancing the local markets’ ability to meet the increasing demand from pilgrims, ensuring the availability of their needs for high-quality sacrificial animals.

It pointed out that the sector includes more than 22 million heads of sheep, about 7.6 million heads of goats, more than 2.2 million heads of camels, in addition to over 510,000 heads of cattle.

The ministry confirmed the readiness of local markets and slaughterhouses in Mecca to meet the needs of pilgrims, amidst an abundance of supply and high quality in local production, which contributes to market stability and provides diverse options for consumers. It noted the continuation of its regulatory and field efforts during the Hajj season by intensifying inspection tours and field visits to public benefit markets, slaughterhouses, and related facilities to ensure the availability of supply and compliance of workers with health and technical requirements and approved regulations.
