اجتماع خليجي لتعزيز العمل الإحصائي – أخبار السعودية

شارك رئيس الهيئة العامة للإحصاء فهد بن عبدالله الدوسري، في الاجتماع الرابع عشر للجنة الدائمة لشؤون العمل الإحصائي بدول مجلس التعاون، الذي عُقد افتراضيًا، وناقش مستجدات التحضيرات لمنتدى الأمم المتحدة العالمي السادس للبيانات 2026، الذي تستضيفه الرياض، إضافة إلى فعاليات «الطريق إلى الرياض»، وجهود تعزيز مشاركة الشركاء والجهات المعنية، وتطوير التعاون الدولي في مجالات البيانات والإحصاء.

وتناول الاجتماع الخطة الإستراتيجية للعمل الإحصائي الخليجي المشترك (2026–2030) الهادفة إلى تعزيز التكامل الإحصائي وتطوير المبادرات والمشاريع المشتركة. وأقرّ رؤساء الأجهزة الإحصائية الوثيقة الإستراتيجية تمهيدًا لرفعها إلى المجلس الوزاري لاعتمادها.

كما استعرض الاجتماع مشروع تطوير الإطار الخليجي للمعايير والمنهجيات الإحصائية، مع التأكيد على تبني المنهجيات الحديثة والتصانيف الدولية والاستفادة من السجلات الإدارية ومصادر البيانات المتقدمة وتقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي، مع الالتزام بحماية سرية البيانات وفق السياسات الوطنية. وبحث الاجتماع سبل تعزيز التكامل الإحصائي في ظل المتغيّرات الاقتصادية، وشكّل فريق عمل لمراجعة الأولويات وتفعيل تبادل الخبرات بين الدول الأعضاء لضمان استمرارية وتكامل العمل الإحصائي الخليجي.

The President of the General Authority for Statistics, Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Dosari, participated in the fourteenth meeting of the Permanent Committee for Statistical Work Affairs in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, which was held virtually. The meeting discussed updates on the preparations for the sixth United Nations Global Data Forum 2026, which will be hosted in Riyadh, in addition to the events of “The Road to Riyadh,” efforts to enhance the participation of partners and stakeholders, and to develop international cooperation in the fields of data and statistics.

The meeting addressed the strategic plan for joint Gulf statistical work (2026–2030), aimed at enhancing statistical integration and developing joint initiatives and projects. The heads of the statistical agencies approved the strategic document in preparation for its submission to the Ministerial Council for adoption.

The meeting also reviewed the project to develop the Gulf framework for statistical standards and methodologies, emphasizing the adoption of modern methodologies and international classifications, and benefiting from administrative records and advanced data sources and artificial intelligence techniques, while committing to protecting data confidentiality according to national policies. The meeting discussed ways to enhance statistical integration in light of economic changes and formed a working group to review priorities and activate the exchange of experiences among member states to ensure the continuity and integration of Gulf statistical work.
