بعد تأجيل لقاءات جنيف.. أمريكا وإيران توقعان «عن بُعد» على«الصفقة الجديدة» – أخبار السعودية

رجّحت مصادر مطلعة أن يتم التوقيع «عن بُعد» على إعلان إسلام أباد بإنهاء الحرب بين واشنطن وطهران، وتأجيل لقاءات جنيف مرحلياً، مؤكداً أن اجتماعات في العاصمة الباكستانية ستعقد في وقت لاحق لبحث الأمور الفنية.

وكانت مصادر توقعت التوقيع على مذكرة التفاهم بين إيران وأمريكا يوم غدٍ الأحد عن بُعد.

وأعلنت الولايات المتحدة وإيران قرب التوصل إلى اتفاق لإنهاء الحرب. وقال مسؤول أمريكي كبير إن الطرفين توافقا على نص، وإن من المتوقع أن توقع واشنطن على اتفاق مبدئي خلال الأيام القادمة.

وقال وزير الخارجية الإيراني عباس عراقجي إنه لا يزال من الممكن إدخال تعديلات على النص، لكن الاتفاق المبدئي يُظهر بوضوح أن بلاده خرجت من الصراع أقوى. وزعم في تصريح للتلفزيون الرسمي، أن إيران هي المنتصرة في الحرب مع الولايات المتحدة. وأعلن عراقجي إن الاتفاق سيوقع عن بُعد قبل إعلانه.

فيما أفاد مسؤول أمريكي بأن الاتفاق يلبي أهداف الرئيس دونالد ترمب الأساسية ويضع المفاوضات «في وضع جيد جداً».

وتشير بنود مسودة الاتفاق، التي أبلغت بها مصادر متعددة رويترز، إلى أن الولايات المتحدة ستمنح إيران على الفور مليارات الدولارات من الأصول المجمدة، وترفع العقوبات المفروضة على صادراتها النفطية مقابل رفع طهران الحصار المفروض على مضيق هرمز الذي هو في حكم المغلق منذ بدء الحرب.

وسيتأجل أي نقاش بخصوص المطالب الأمريكية الرئيسية المتعلقة بالبرنامج النووي إلى وقت لاحق خلال فترة 60 يوماً تشهد محادثات للتوصل إلى تسوية نهائية. وقالت المصادر إن المقترحات تتضمّن مناقشات بخصوص تعويضات محتملة لإيران عن شن الحرب عليها والتخلي عن المطالب الأمريكية بفرض قيود على برنامج الصواريخ الإيراني.

وطالبت واشنطن إيران بالتخلي عن مخزونها من اليورانيوم عالي التخصيب إلا أن أيّاً من نسخ النص، التي اطلعت عليها رويترز، لم تتضمن أي ذكر لهذا المطلب في حين أكدت مصادر أن هذا المطلب استُبعد بوضوح في المرحلة الحالية. لكنّ مسؤولاً أمريكياً كبيراً قال عن الاتفاق إن مخزونات اليورانيوم «ستُدمر وتُزال» وسيتم تفكيك البرنامج النووي الإيراني.

وأضاف: «لن يُفرج عن أي أموال حتى ينفذوا التزاماتهم ويظل مضيق هرمز مفتوحاً. ولن تقدم إيران أي تمويل للجماعات الإرهابية… هذا ما وافقوا عليه. إنها صفقة قائمة على مدى التزامهم».

Informed sources have indicated that the signing of the Islamabad Declaration to end the war between Washington and Tehran will take place “remotely,” and that Geneva meetings will be postponed temporarily, confirming that meetings in the Pakistani capital will be held later to discuss technical matters.

Sources had anticipated the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Iran and the U.S. tomorrow, Sunday, remotely.

The United States and Iran announced that they are close to reaching an agreement to end the war. A senior U.S. official stated that both sides have agreed on the text, and Washington is expected to sign a preliminary agreement in the coming days.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that modifications to the text are still possible, but the preliminary agreement clearly shows that his country has emerged from the conflict stronger. He claimed in a statement to state television that Iran is the victor in the war with the United States. Araghchi announced that the agreement will be signed remotely before its announcement.

Meanwhile, a U.S. official reported that the agreement meets President Donald Trump’s core objectives and puts the negotiations “in a very good position.”

The draft agreement’s provisions, as reported by multiple sources to Reuters, indicate that the United States will immediately grant Iran billions of dollars in frozen assets and lift sanctions imposed on its oil exports in exchange for Tehran lifting the blockade on the Strait of Hormuz, which has been effectively closed since the war began.

Any discussion regarding the main U.S. demands related to the nuclear program will be postponed to a later time during a 60-day period that will witness talks aimed at reaching a final settlement. The sources stated that the proposals include discussions regarding potential compensation for Iran for the war waged against it and abandoning U.S. demands for restrictions on Iran’s missile program.

Washington demanded that Iran abandon its stockpile of enriched uranium; however, none of the versions of the text reviewed by Reuters included any mention of this demand, while sources confirmed that this demand has clearly been excluded at this stage. However, a senior U.S. official stated about the agreement that the uranium stocks “will be destroyed and removed” and that Iran’s nuclear program will be dismantled.

He added: “No funds will be released until they fulfill their commitments and the Strait of Hormuz remains open. Iran will not provide any funding to terrorist groups… this is what they agreed to. It is a deal based on the extent of their commitment.”
