وزير داخلية باكستان يعود إلى طهران لإطلاق المفاوضات الأمريكية الإيرانية – أخبار السعودية

وسط غموض يكتنف موعد انطلاق المحادثات بين واشنطن وطهران في سويسرا، أعلن المتحدث باسم وزارة الخارجية الإيرانية إسماعيل بقائي أنه من المقرر أن يجري وزير الداخلية الباكستاني محسن نقوي محادثات مع وزير الخارجية الإيراني عباس عراقجي خلال زيارة إلى طهران، اليوم السبت.

وأفاد بقائي بأن زيارة نقوي تأتي في إطار الجهود المستمرة التي تبذلها إسلام أباد، فيما يتعلق بالمفاوضات بين إيران والولايات المتحدة، وفق ما أفادت وكالة «إسنا» للأنباء.

ورجّحت مصادر مطلعة أن يكون قوي حمل ضمانات معينة إلى الجانب الإيراني، بهدف بدء المحادثات التي كانت مقررة أن تنطلق أمس في سويسرا قبل أن تؤجل.

ولفتت إلى أن وفداً أمريكياً رفيعاً وصل إلى سويسرا، إذ كان من المتوقع أن تعقد لقاءات أمريكية إيرانية في منتجع بورجنستوك بمنطقة لوسيرن.

فيما كشف مسؤول أمريكي في وقت سابق، اليوم، أن المبعوث الخاص للبيت الأبيض ستيف ويتكوف في طريقه إلى سويسرا. وأضاف أن جاريد كوشنر، مبعوث الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب، موجود بالفعل في سويسرا، وفق ما نقل موقع «أكسيوس».

وأفاد مصدر مطّلع بأن المدير العام للوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية، رافائيل غروسي، موجود في سويسرا للمساعدة في الجوانب الفنية للمحادثات النووية، قبيل الوصول المحتمل لكبار المفاوضين. وأضاف المصدر أن غروسي التقى فرقاً فنية أمريكية هناك أمس. وتوقع مصدر مطلع آخر بأن يصل عراقجي إلى جنيف مساء اليوم أيضاً.

وكانت وزارة الخارجية السويسرية أعلنت، أمس الجمعة، تأجيل المحادثات بين الجانبين، عقب إعلان البيت الأبيض بدوره إلغاء رحلة نائب الرئيس جيه دي فانس إلى هناك لـ «أسباب لوجستية».

وكان الرئيس دونالد ترمب أعرب عن تفاؤله بحل كافة القضايا العالقة مع إيران خلال 60 يوماً، ملوحا مجدداً بالخيار العسكري إن لم يتم التوصل لاتفاق نهائي.

Amid the uncertainty surrounding the start date of talks between Washington and Tehran in Switzerland, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baqaei announced that Pakistani Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi is scheduled to hold talks with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi during a visit to Tehran today, Saturday.

Baqaei stated that Naqvi’s visit is part of the ongoing efforts by Islamabad regarding the negotiations between Iran and the United States, according to the news agency “ISNA.”

Informed sources suggested that Naqvi may have brought certain guarantees to the Iranian side, with the aim of initiating the talks that were supposed to start yesterday in Switzerland before being postponed.

It was noted that a high-level American delegation arrived in Switzerland, where American-Iranian meetings were expected to take place at the Bürgenstock resort in the Lucerne area.

Meanwhile, an American official revealed earlier today that White House special envoy Steve Wietkoff is on his way to Switzerland. He added that Jared Kushner, the envoy of President Donald Trump, is already in Switzerland, according to the website “Axios.”

An informed source reported that the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, is in Switzerland to assist with the technical aspects of the nuclear talks, ahead of the potential arrival of senior negotiators. The source added that Grossi met with American technical teams there yesterday. Another informed source expected Araghchi to arrive in Geneva this evening as well.

The Swiss Foreign Ministry announced yesterday, Friday, the postponement of talks between the two sides, following the White House’s announcement of the cancellation of Vice President J.D. Vance’s trip there for “logistical reasons.”

President Donald Trump expressed optimism about resolving all outstanding issues with Iran within 60 days, once again hinting at military options if a final agreement is not reached.
