وزير الخارجية يشارك في اجتماع تشاوري عربي في عمّان – أخبار السعودية

شارك وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان بن عبدالله في الاجتماع التشاوري لوزراء خارجية الدول العربية، الذي ينعقد بدعوة من نائب رئيس الوزراء ووزير الخارجية وشؤون المغتربين بالأردن أيمن الصفدي، قبيل انعقاد اجتماع مجلس جامعة الدول العربية على المستوى الوزاري في دورته العادية المستأنفة الـ165 اليوم بالعاصمة الأردنية عمّان.

وبحث الاجتماع آخر التطورات الإقليمية لا سيما المستجدات المتعلقة بالاتفاق بين الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية لإنهاء العمليات العسكرية والبدء في مفاوضات تفصيلية، كما جرت مناقشة أبرز القضايا في المنطقة وعلى رأسها مستجدات الأوضاع في الأراضي الفلسطينية وفي لبنان، وأهمية تضافر الجهود كافة بما يحفظ السلم والأمن الإقليمي، ويحول دون تفاقم التداعيات الأمنية على دول المنطقة.

حضر الاجتماع مندوب المملكة الدائم لدى جامعة الدول العربية السفير عبدالعزيز المطر.

Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah participated in the consultative meeting of Arab foreign ministers, which was convened at the invitation of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Jordan, Ayman Safadi, ahead of the Arab League Council meeting at the ministerial level in its resumed 165th ordinary session today in the Jordanian capital, Amman.

The meeting discussed the latest regional developments, particularly the updates related to the agreement between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America to end military operations and begin detailed negotiations. The most pressing issues in the region were also discussed, foremost among them the developments in the Palestinian territories and in Lebanon, as well as the importance of concerted efforts to maintain regional peace and security and to prevent the escalation of security repercussions on the countries of the region.

The meeting was attended by the Kingdom’s Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Ambassador Abdulaziz Al-Matar.
