أعلنت وزارة الدفاع انطلاق برنامج الابتعاث إلى الكليات العسكرية الخارجية المميزة برؤية متجددة، الذي يستهدف استقطاب خريجي المرحلة الثانوية المتفوقين والمقبولين في الكليات العسكرية التابعة للوزارة، لإعداد ضباط مؤهلين وفق أعلى المعايير العالمية، يجمعون بين التأهيل الوطني والخبرة الدولية، بما يسهم في تعزيز جاهزية القوات المسلحة وتلبية حاجاتها الحالية والمستقبلية.
ويبتعث البرنامج سنوياً 250 طالباً لمدة خمس سنوات إلى 21 جامعة وأكاديمية وكلية عسكرية مميزة في تسع دول صديقة، هي: الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، والمملكة المتحدة، والجمهورية الفرنسية، ومملكة إسبانيا، والجمهورية الإيطالية، وجمهورية كوريا الجنوبية، وأستراليا، واليابان، وجمهورية الصين الشعبية، بما يتيح للمبتعثين الاستفادة من بيئات تعليمية متقدمة وخبرات دولية متنوعة.
ويأتي البرنامج ضمن خطة الوزارة لتطوير مخرجات كلياتها العسكرية، ويرتكز على ثلاثة محاور رئيسة تشمل التأهيل العسكري والأكاديمي وفق المعايير الدولية، وتطوير مهارات القيادة وصناعة القرار، وبناء مسار مهني واضح يعزز الجاهزية والاحترافية.
وأكّد رئيس هيئة تدريب وتطوير القوات المسلحة اللواء الركن عادل بن محمد البلوي، أن البرنامج يحقق مستهدفات إستراتيجية في التأهيل العلمي والقيادي، من خلال إعداد ضباط وفق أعلى المعايير العالمية، وتزويدهم بالمعرفة العسكرية المتقدمة والمهارات القيادية، وتمكينهم من التعامل مع أحدث المنظومات العسكرية، بما يعزز كفاءة الضباط ويحقق الاستدامة البشرية للقوات المسلحة.
وأضاف أن البرنامج يجسّد إستراتيجية وزارة الدفاع في تنمية الموارد البشرية، من خلال استقطاب الكفاءات الوطنية وتمكينها وإعداد قيادات عسكرية مؤهلة وفق أفضل الممارسات العالمية، بما يواكب متطلبات المستقبل.
The Ministry of Defense announced the launch of a scholarship program for distinguished foreign military colleges with a renewed vision, aimed at attracting outstanding high school graduates who are accepted into the military colleges affiliated with the ministry, to prepare qualified officers according to the highest global standards, combining national qualification with international experience, which contributes to enhancing the readiness of the armed forces and meeting their current and future needs.
The program annually sends 250 students for five years to 21 distinguished universities, academies, and military colleges in nine friendly countries: the United States of America, the United Kingdom, the French Republic, the Kingdom of Spain, the Italian Republic, the Republic of South Korea, Australia, Japan, and the People’s Republic of China, allowing the scholarship recipients to benefit from advanced educational environments and diverse international experiences.
The program is part of the ministry’s plan to develop the outputs of its military colleges and is based on three main pillars: military and academic qualification according to international standards, developing leadership and decision-making skills, and building a clear career path that enhances readiness and professionalism.
Lieutenant General Adel bin Mohammed Al-Balawi, Chairman of the Armed Forces Training and Development Authority, confirmed that the program achieves strategic objectives in scientific and leadership qualification by preparing officers according to the highest global standards, providing them with advanced military knowledge and leadership skills, and enabling them to deal with the latest military systems, which enhances the efficiency of the officers and achieves the human sustainability of the armed forces.
He added that the program embodies the Ministry of Defense’s strategy in developing human resources by attracting national talents, empowering them, and preparing qualified military leaders according to the best global practices, in line with future requirements.
