خسر نحو مليون مستثمر نحو 3.8 مليار دولار بعد شرائهم عملة الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب المشفرة، وفقًا لتقرير صادر عن إحدى شركات التحليلات المتخصصة.
وأوضح التقرير أن عدد المحافظ الاستثمارية التي سجلت خسائر بلغ 988.9 ألف محفظة بنهاية يونيو الماضي، ويمثل هذا نحو ثلثي مشتري العملة.
وتم تداول عملة «ترمب» المشفرة عند 1.69 دولار أمس، بانخفاض 98% مقارنة بأعلى مستوى سجلته عند 75.35 دولار عقب إطلاقها مطلع 2025.
استفادة محدودة
وبحسب التقرير، استفاد عدد محدود من المستثمرين الأوائل من الارتفاع السريع لسعر العملة عند إطلاقها، محققين أرباحًا إجمالية بنحو 4 مليارات دولار، بينما تحمل غالبية المستثمرين الأفراد الخسائر بعد انهيار السعر.
وفي المقابل، كشف الإفصاح المالي السنوي لـ«ترمب» أنه حقق 636 مليون دولار من عملته، وهو ما يمثل جانبًا كبيرًا من أرباحه البالغة نحو 1.4 مليار دولار من أنشطة العملات المشفرة خلال العام الماضي.
About a million investors lost approximately $3.8 billion after purchasing the cryptocurrency of U.S. President Donald Trump, according to a report from a specialized analytics firm.
The report indicated that the number of investment wallets that recorded losses reached 988,900 by the end of June, representing about two-thirds of the currency buyers.
The “Trump” cryptocurrency was traded at $1.69 yesterday, down 98% compared to its highest recorded level of $75.35 shortly after its launch in early 2025.
Limited Benefits
According to the report, a limited number of early investors benefited from the rapid price increase of the currency at its launch, achieving total profits of about $4 billion, while the majority of individual investors bore losses after the price collapse.
In contrast, Trump’s annual financial disclosure revealed that he made $636 million from his cryptocurrency, which represents a significant portion of his total profits of about $1.4 billion from cryptocurrency activities over the past year.
