لم يكن المشهد مجرد لقطة سادية من فيلم رعب سينمائي، بل حقيقة صادمة استيقظت عليها محافظة إيباراكي اليابانية، حيث اهتز الشارع الياباني على وقع جريمة وحشية غير مألوفة، بعد تجرؤ امرأة على معاقبة زميلتها في السكن بطريقة تقشعر لها الأبدان، عبر خياطة فمها بالكامل لمنعها من الاستغاثة أو الكلام.
صرخة صامتة
فصول المأساة كُشفت بالصدفة داخل أحد المتاجر القريبة في المنطقة، عندما دخلت امرأة تبلغ من العمر 42 عاماً تبدو عليها علامات الذعر الشديد، وكانت ترتدي كمامة بيضاء تُغطي وجهها بالكامل.
ولأنها لم تكن قادرة على إخراج الحروف أو النطق بكلمة واحدة، تقدمت الضحية نحو أحد العاملين في المتجر ومدت يدها المرتجفة بورقة صغيرة حملت عبارة واحدة مكتوبة بمرارة: «أرجوكم ساعدوني!».
أصيب عمال المتجر بصدمة بالغة فور نزع الكمامة، إذ تبين أن شفتي المرأة قد أُغلقتا تماماً بعدما جرى خياطتهما باستخدام «إبرة وخيط» لمنعها من التحدث، مما دفعهم لإبلاغ شرطة «كوغا» على الفور لإنقاذها.
وأفادت التحقيقات الرسمية والتقارير الإعلامية بأن الضحية كانت تقيم في منزل المتهمة وتُدعى ماساي ساكوراي (49 عاماً) منذ أبريل 2025. وطوال تلك الشهور، عاشت الضحية تحت وطأة رعب نفسي وجسدي شديد جعلها عاجزة عن التفكير في الهروب خوفاً من بطش قرينتها.
وفي 29 يونيو، نفذت المتهمة «ساكوراي» جريمتها السادية بالخياطة القسرية لشفاه الضحية، واحتجزتها داخل المنزل. إلا أن بصيص الأمل ظهر في اليوم التالي مباشرة، فبمجرد خروج المتهمة من المنزل لقضاء بعض أعمالها في الخارج، تغلبت الضحية على خوفها وجمعت ما تبقى من قوتها، لتفر مسرعة نحو المتجر مستغلةً غياب معذبتها.
كواليس «بيت الرعب»
المفاجأة الأكثر غرابة في ملف القضية ظهرت عند نبش دفاتر المتهمة وسلوكها الاجتماعي، حيث أشار أشخاص مقربون منها إلى أن «ساكوراي» كانت تحاول دائماً ارتداء قناع الإنسانية، إذ عُرفت بين جيرانها بأنها «تأوي الفتيات والنساء اللواتي فقدن المأوى وأماكن الإقامة نتيجة خلافات حادة مع عائلاتهن».
وأكد شاهد آخر زار المنزل سابقاً أنه رأى عدداً من الأشخاص المقيمين فيه بالفعل، مما يفتح الباب أمام تساؤلات مرعبة: هل كانت الضحية هي الوحيدة التي تعرضت لهذا التعذيب؟
تطوق الشرطة اليابانية حالياً المنزل، وتكثف عمليات استجواب النزلاء الآخرين والشهود الذين كانوا موجودين وقت وقوع الحادثة لكشف الدوافع الغامضة وراء هذا السلوك السادي، بينما لا تزال السلطات تفرض سياجاً من السرية حول ما إذا كانت المتهمة قد اعترفت بجريمتها أم لا بعد إلقاء القبض عليها بتهمة الاعتداء العنيف.

A Silent Scream
The chapters of the tragedy were revealed by chance inside a nearby store in the area, when a 42-year-old woman entered looking extremely panicked, wearing a white mask that covered her entire face.
Because she was unable to utter letters or speak a single word, the victim approached one of the store employees and extended her trembling hand with a small piece of paper that bore a single, bitterly written phrase: “Please help me!”
The store workers were profoundly shocked when the mask was removed, as it became clear that the woman’s lips had been completely closed after being sewn together with “needle and thread” to prevent her from speaking, prompting them to immediately notify the Koga police to rescue her.
Official investigations and media reports indicated that the victim had been living in the home of the accused, Masai Sakurai (49 years old), since April 2025. Throughout those months, the victim lived under severe psychological and physical terror that rendered her incapable of thinking about escape for fear of her tormentor’s wrath.
On June 29, the accused “Sakurai” committed her sadistic crime by forcibly sewing the victim’s lips and holding her captive inside the house. However, a glimmer of hope appeared the very next day, as soon as the accused left the house to run some errands outside, the victim overcame her fear and gathered what little strength she had left to rush to the store, taking advantage of her tormentor’s absence.
Behind the Scenes of the “House of Horror”
The most bizarre surprise in the case file emerged when digging into the accused’s records and social behavior, as close acquaintances indicated that “Sakurai” always tried to wear a mask of humanity, being known among her neighbors for “sheltering girls and women who had lost their homes and places to stay due to severe disputes with their families.”
Another witness who had visited the house previously confirmed that he saw several people residing there, raising terrifying questions: Was the victim the only one subjected to this torture?
The Japanese police are currently surrounding the house and intensifying their questioning of other residents and witnesses who were present at the time of the incident to uncover the mysterious motives behind this sadistic behavior, while authorities continue to impose a veil of secrecy over whether the accused has confessed to her crime after being arrested for violent assault.
