أعلنت القوات المسلحة الأردنية، اليوم (الخميس)، اعتراض وإسقاط 8 صواريخ أطلقت من إيران باتجاه أراضي المملكة، دون أن تسفر الحادثة عن وقوع إصابات بشرية أو أضرار مادية.
ونقلت وكالة الأنباء الأردنية «بترا» عن مصدر عسكري مسؤول في القيادة العامة للقوات المسلحة الأردنية قوله: إن أنظمة الدفاع الجوي الأردنية اعترضت وأسقطت، اليوم الخميس، 8 صواريخ أُطلقت من إيران باتجاه الأراضي الأردنية، موضحاً أن أن عمليات الاعتراض نتج عنها سقوط عدد من الشظايا، دون وقوع أي إصابات بشرية أو أضرار مادية.
وأكد المصدر أن القوات المسلحة الأردنية تتابع التطورات والمستجدات الإقليمية الراهنة، وتعمل ضمن أعلى درجات الجاهزية لحماية أجواء المملكة والدفاع عن سيادتها وسلامة أراضيها، ولن تسمح بأي انتهاك للمجال الجوي الأردني من أي طرف كان.
وكان المتحدث باسم الحكومة الأردنية وزير الاتصال الدكتور محمد حسين المومني قال في وقت سابق اليوم إن الدفاعات الجوية الأردنية تصدت لصواريخ أطلقت من إيران. وكتب المومني على حسابه في «إكس»: «تم إطلاق صافرات الإنذار من قبل مديرية الأمن العام قبل قليل على خلفية تعرض أجواء المملكة لاختراق بصواريخ أطلقت من إيران، وتم التعامل معها والتصدي لها».
وأوضح أن القوات المسلحة الأردنية على أهبة الاستعداد للتعامل مع أي تهديد تتعرض له المملكة، وتسخر كل جهودها لحفظ أمن الوطن وسلامة المواطنين، مبيناً أن الجهات المعنية ستقوم بتزويد المواطنين والقاطنين بالإرشادات والمعلومات اللازمة.
ودعا المتحدث باسم الحكومة الالتزام بهذه المعلومات وتجنب نشر الأخبار المغلوطة.
The Jordanian Armed Forces announced today (Thursday) the interception and destruction of 8 missiles launched from Iran towards the Kingdom’s territory, without any casualties or material damage resulting from the incident.
The Jordan News Agency “Petra” quoted a military source from the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces stating that the Jordanian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed, today Thursday, 8 missiles launched from Iran towards Jordanian territory, explaining that the interception resulted in the fall of several fragments, without any human injuries or material damage.
The source confirmed that the Jordanian Armed Forces are monitoring the current regional developments and are operating at the highest levels of readiness to protect the Kingdom’s airspace and defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity, and will not allow any violation of Jordanian airspace by any party.
The spokesperson for the Jordanian government, Minister of State for Media Affairs Dr. Muhammad Hussein Al-Momani, said earlier today that the Jordanian air defenses intercepted missiles launched from Iran. Al-Momani wrote on his account on “X”: “Sirens were sounded by the Public Security Directorate a short while ago due to the incursion of the Kingdom’s airspace by missiles launched from Iran, and they were dealt with and intercepted.”
He clarified that the Jordanian Armed Forces are on high alert to deal with any threat facing the Kingdom, and are dedicating all their efforts to maintain the security of the homeland and the safety of citizens, indicating that the relevant authorities will provide citizens and residents with the necessary guidance and information.
The government spokesperson urged adherence to this information and to avoid spreading false news.
