أشاد رئيس الوزراء وزير الخارجية وشؤون المغتربين اليمني الدكتور شائع محسن الزنداني، اليوم (الإثنين)، بالدور الريادي للمملكة العربية السعودية، قيادةً وحكومةً وشعباً، في مساندة اليمن ودعم جهود الحكومة لتجاوز التحديات الإنسانية والاقتصادية والخدمية.
وأكد الزنداني، خلال استقباله مدير مكتب البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن في عدن المهندس أحمد مدخلي، أن الحكومة تنظر إلى البرنامج السعودي كشريك إستراتيجي في تنفيذ أولوياتها التنموية والخدمية، معرباً عن تطلعه إلى توسيع مجالات التعاون خلال المرحلة القادمة بما يواكب الاحتياجات المتزايدة، ويسهم في تسريع وتيرة التعافي الاقتصادي وتحسين مستوى الخدمات في العاصمة المؤقتة عدن والمحافظات المحررة.
واستمع رئيس الوزراء اليمني إلى إحاطة من مدير مكتب البرنامج السعودي حول مستوى الإنجاز في عدد من المشاريع الحيوية التي ينفذها البرنامج في عدن وعدد من المحافظات، وخططه المستقبلية والقطاعات التي يمكن التركيز عليها بالتنسيق مع الحكومة.
ونفذ البرنامج السعودي لتنمية وإعمار اليمن أحد أبرز أذرع المملكة الداعمة لمسار التنمية في اليمن، 268 مشروعاً تنموياً في قطاعات حيوية، شملت التعليم والصحة والطاقة والمياه والنقل والزراعة والثروة السمكية، إلى جانب دعم البنية التحتية والخدمات الأساسية، بما أسهم في تحسين مستوى المعيشة وتعزيز الاستقرار في المناطق المحررة.
ويشكل الدعم السعودي خيط الأمل للشعب اليمني، كما يجسد عمق العلاقات الأخوية بين البلدين، ويعكس التزام المملكة بمساندة اليمن وشعبه في مواجهة التحديات، ودعم جهود التعافي وإعادة الإعمار وتحقيق التنمية المستدامة.
The Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Yemen, Dr. Shaea Mohsen Al-Zandani, praised today (Monday) the pioneering role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its leadership, government, and people, in supporting Yemen and aiding the government’s efforts to overcome humanitarian, economic, and service challenges.
Al-Zandani affirmed, during his meeting with the Director of the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen in Aden, Engineer Ahmed Madkhali, that the government views the Saudi program as a strategic partner in implementing its developmental and service priorities, expressing his hope to expand areas of cooperation in the upcoming phase to meet increasing needs and contribute to accelerating the pace of economic recovery and improving service levels in the temporary capital Aden and the liberated governorates.
The Yemeni Prime Minister listened to a briefing from the Director of the Saudi Program about the level of achievement in several vital projects being implemented by the program in Aden and several governorates, as well as its future plans and the sectors that can be focused on in coordination with the government.
The Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, one of the prominent arms of the Kingdom supporting the development path in Yemen, has implemented 268 developmental projects in vital sectors, including education, health, energy, water, transport, agriculture, and fisheries, in addition to supporting infrastructure and basic services, which has contributed to improving the standard of living and enhancing stability in the liberated areas.
The Saudi support represents a thread of hope for the Yemeni people, embodies the depth of fraternal relations between the two countries, and reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to supporting Yemen and its people in facing challenges, and aiding recovery, reconstruction, and achieving sustainable development.
