عون: لا خيار إلا التفاوض ومن يغذي الفتنة يخدم إسرائيل – أخبار السعودية

أكد الرئيس اللبناني جوزيف عون، اليوم (الثلاثاء)، حرصه على السلم الأهلي والاستقرار الداخلي في لبنان، ومنع الفتنة التي من شأنها أن تهدد بقاء لبنان، متهماً كل من يغذي الفتنة بتقديم خدمة لإسرائيل.

وقال عون خلال استقباله وفداً من نقباء المهن الحرة: «السلم الأهلي لا يمكن المساس به، لأن اللبنانيين باتوا على قناعة تامة بأنه لا عودة إلى الوراء، كما أن الطبقة السياسية تعمل أيضاً على إبعاد هذه المشكلة وتأثيرها الكارثي عبر خطاب واضح موحد»، مضيفاً: «العمود الفقري والأساس لمنع الفتنة هو الجيش والأجهزة الأمنية الذين يتعرضون في بعض الأحيان للانتقاد والتهجم، فيما يواصلون تقديم أعلى درجات التضحيات على مذبح الوطن».

وأشار إلى أن «هناك أكثر من 3 آلاف قتيل وأكثر من مليون نازح وآلاف المنازل المهدمة، ولا أفق لانتهاء هذا الوضع، لذلك كان لزاماً عليّ كرئيس جمهورية القيام بما يفرضه عليّ ضميري وواجبي تجاه بلدي وشعبي، ومن واجب الدولة الاهتمام بمواطنيها وعدم الوقوف من دون أن نحرك ساكناً، ولا خيار آخر غير التفاوض»، مبيناً أن القوة ليست في خوض الحرب، بل في التمتع بالشجاعة والحكمة لإنهاء الحرب بالتفاوض لمصلحة البلد التي تبقى هي الأساس فوق كل اعتبار.

وكانت بيروت قد شهدت أمس تطورات دراماتيكية، بدأت مع بنيامين نتنياهو وقراره المفاجئ بتوجيه ضربات إلى الضاحية الجنوبية، وانتهت مع دونالد ترمب وإعلانه المفاجئ عن اتفاق وقف لإطلاق النار، وما بين قرار نتنياهو وإعلان ترمب، عاش سكان الضاحية وبيروت أوقاتاً عصيبة، وحصل نزوح كثيف ومتجدد.

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun confirmed today (Tuesday) his commitment to civil peace and internal stability in Lebanon, and to preventing strife that could threaten the existence of Lebanon, accusing anyone who fuels discord of serving Israel.

Aoun stated during his reception of a delegation of professional syndicate heads: “Civil peace cannot be compromised, as the Lebanese have become fully convinced that there is no turning back. The political class is also working to distance this problem and its catastrophic effects through a clear and unified discourse,” adding: “The backbone and foundation for preventing strife is the army and security forces, who are sometimes subjected to criticism and attacks, while they continue to make the highest levels of sacrifices on the altar of the homeland.”

He pointed out that “there are more than 3,000 dead, over a million displaced, and thousands of destroyed homes, with no end in sight to this situation. Therefore, it was imperative for me as President to act according to my conscience and duty towards my country and my people. It is the state’s responsibility to care for its citizens and not to stand idly by without taking action, and there is no option other than negotiation,” clarifying that strength does not lie in waging war, but in having the courage and wisdom to end the war through negotiation for the benefit of the country, which remains the priority above all else.
