«بلو أوريجين» تفتح تحقيقاً عاجلاً في انفجار صاروخ «نيو غلين».. وبيزوس: الجميع بخير – أخبار السعودية
أكد مؤسس شركة «بلو أوريجين» جيف بيزوس إن الوقت لا يزال مبكراً لتحديد السبب الجذري لانفجار صاروخ «نيو غلين» التابع لشركة «بلو أوريجين» الأمريكية خلال اختبار أرضي على منصة الإطلاق في ولاية فلوريدا، مشيراً إلى أن فرق الشركة بدأت بالفعل تحقيقاً فنياً لمعرفة ملابساته وأسباب وقوعه.
ورأى خبراء أن الانفجار يعد انتكاسة جديدة لبرنامج الشركة الفضائي الذي كان يستعد للعودة إلى الخدمة بعد أشهر من الأعطال الفنية.
خلل أثناء الاختبار
وأفادت وسائل إعلام أمريكية بأن الصاروخ تعرض لخلل مفاجئ خلال اختبار إطلاق ثابت على منصة الإطلاق في «كيب كانافيرال»، ما أدى إلى انفجاره قبل تنفيذ المهمة المقررة.
وأكدت إدارة الطيران الفيدرالية الأمريكية أنها على علم بالحادثة التي وقعت قرابة الساعة التاسعة مساءً بالتوقيت المحلي، موضحة أن الخلل وقع أثناء الاختبارات الأرضية الروتينية للصاروخ.
لا تأثير على الملاحة الجوية
وأشارت الإدارة إلى أن الحادث لم يؤثر في حركة الطيران أو عمليات الملاحة الجوية بالمنطقة، مؤكدة متابعة التطورات بالتنسيق مع الجهات المختصة.
بيزوس يطمئن الجميع
من جانبه، سارع مؤسس شركة «بلو أوريجين» جيف بيزوس إلى طمأنة المتابعين، مؤكداً عبر منصة «إكس» أن جميع أفراد الطاقم والعاملين في الموقع سالمون ولم تسجل أي إصابات.
انتكاسة جديدة لـ«نيو غلين»
ويأتي الحادث بعد أيام قليلة من إعلان «بلو أوريجين» خطط إعادة صاروخ «نيو غلين» إلى الخدمة، عقب تعرضه لعطل خلال رحلته الثالثة في 19 أبريل الماضي، ما يضع البرنامج الفضائي للشركة أمام تحديات تقنية جديدة في سباقها مع الشركات المنافسة في قطاع الفضاء التجاري.
ويُعد «نيو غلين» أحد أبرز المشاريع الفضائية التي تراهن عليها «بلو أوريجين» لتعزيز حضورها في سوق إطلاق الأقمار الصناعية والمهام الفضائية الثقيلة، في مواجهة المنافسة المتصاعدة داخل صناعة الفضاء الأمريكية.

Experts viewed the explosion as a new setback for the company’s space program, which was preparing to return to service after months of technical malfunctions.
Malfunction During Testing
American media reported that the rocket experienced a sudden malfunction during a static launch test on the launch pad at Cape Canaveral, leading to its explosion before the scheduled mission could be executed.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed that it was aware of the incident that occurred around 9 PM local time, explaining that the malfunction occurred during routine ground tests of the rocket.
No Impact on Air Navigation
The FAA indicated that the incident did not affect air traffic or air navigation operations in the area, confirming that it is monitoring developments in coordination with the relevant authorities.
Bezos Reassures Everyone
For his part, Blue Origin founder Jeff Bezos quickly reassured followers, confirming via the X platform that all crew members and personnel on site are safe and that no injuries have been reported.
New Setback for New Glenn
The incident comes just days after Blue Origin announced plans to return the New Glenn rocket to service, following a malfunction during its third flight on April 19, which poses new technical challenges for the company’s space program in its competition with rival companies in the commercial space sector.
New Glenn is considered one of the key space projects that Blue Origin is betting on to enhance its presence in the satellite launch market and heavy space missions, amid rising competition within the American space industry.
