حذَّر مجلس القيادة الرئاسي اليمني النظامَ الإيراني من مغبَّة الاستمرار في النهج التصعيدي، محمِّلًا إياه ومليشيا الحوثي المسؤولية الكاملة عن جميع التداعيات الناجمة عن هذه الانتهاكات، وعن أي تهديد لأمن اليمن والمنطقة والسلم والأمن الدوليين.
وعقد مجلس القيادة الرئاسي اجتماعًا استثنائيًا طارئًا برئاسة رئيس المجلس الدكتور رشاد العليمي، بحضور جميع أعضائه، وذلك لبحث التداعيات الخطيرة المترتبة على إقدام النظام الإيراني على تسيير رحلة جوية مباشرة إلى مطار صنعاء الخاضع لسيطرة مليشيا الحوثي، في انتهاك صارخ لسيادة اليمن، وتحدٍّ سافر للقانون الدولي وقرارات مجلس الأمن ذات الصلة.
واستمع المجلس إلى إحاطات من رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الخارجية وشؤون المغتربين الدكتور شائع الزنداني، وعدد من الوزراء ورؤساء الأجهزة والجهات المختصة، بشأن هذا التصعيد الخطير، الذي يؤكد مجددًا ارتهان مليشيا الحوثي الكامل للمشروع الإيراني، وتغليبها مصالح هذا النظام على مصالح الشعب اليمني، واستخدامها مؤسسات الدولة ومنافذها لخدمة أجندته المقوِّضة لسيادة اليمن وأمنه واستقراره، وفقًا لوكالة الأنباء اليمنية (سبأ).
وأوضح المجلس أن هذا الانتهاك يأتي امتدادًا لسلوك جماعة الحوثي، التي دأبت على تقويض كل فرص السلام، ورفض المبادرات الإقليمية والدولية الرامية إلى إنهاء الحرب، وفي مقدمتها المبادرات والجهود الحثيثة التي قادها الأشقاء في المملكة العربية السعودية، والشركاء الدوليون، من أجل التوصل إلى سلام دائم ينهي معاناة الشعب اليمني.
وأشار المجلس إلى أن مليشيا الحوثي، بدلًا من الاستجابة لتلك الجهود، مضت في تصعيدها العسكري، واستهداف خطوط الملاحة البحرية والتجارة الدولية، واستدعاء العقوبات والعزلة الدوليتين، متسببةً في مفاقمة الأزمة الاقتصادية والإنسانية، وإلحاق أضرار جسيمة بمقدرات الشعب اليمني وبنيته التحتية، بما في ذلك الموانئ والمطارات والمنشآت الاقتصادية والخدمية، الأمر الذي جعلها تتحمل المسؤولية الكاملة عن الحصار الفعلي الذي يعانيه اليمنيون، وعن تدهور الأوضاع المعيشية واتساع رقعة المعاناة الإنسانية.
وبيَّن المجلس أن هذا التطور الخطير لا يستهدف اليمن وحدها، وإنما يمثل تهديدًا مباشرًا للأمن الإقليمي والدولي، وتقويضًا للجهود الدولية الرامية إلى خفض التصعيد، ورسالة جديدة تؤكد أن النظام الإيراني مستمر في انتهاك القانون الدولي، واستخدام المليشيا المسلحة أداةً لزعزعة الاستقرار، وأن أي تفاهمات مع هذا النظام لن تكون قابلة للاستمرار ما لم تقترن بآليات حقيقية للردع والمساءلة.
ولفت المجلس إلى أن الدولة اليمنية ستتحمل كامل مسؤولياتها الدستورية والقانونية في حماية سيادتها وحقوقها الحصرية في إدارة أجوائها ومنافذها، والتصدي لأي محاولات للمساس بها، واتخاذ جميع الإجراءات السياسية والدبلوماسية والقانونية والأمنية التي يكفلها القانون الدولي لصون سيادة الجمهورية اليمنية وحماية مؤسساتها الشرعية.
وأشاد مجلس القيادة الرئاسي بالدور الأخوي والمحوري الذي تضطلع به المملكة العربية السعودية، قيادةً وحكومةً، وما بذلته من جهود صادقة ومتواصلة لإنهاء المعاناة، وترسيخ الأمن والاستقرار في اليمن والمنطقة.
كما ثمَّن دور الأشقاء وشركاء اليمن الإقليميين والدوليين في دعم الدولة اليمنية ومؤسساتها الشرعية، مؤكدًا أن هذه الجهود كانت ولا تزال تصطدم بتعنت مليشيا الحوثي وارتهانها الكامل للنظام الإيراني، داعيًا الأمم المتحدة، ومجلس الأمن، وكافة الشركاء الإقليميين والدوليين، إلى تحمل مسؤولياتهم القانونية والأخلاقية، والانتقال من مرحلة الإدانة إلى اتخاذ إجراءات رادعة توقف الانتهاكات الإيرانية، وتشدد الرقابة على قنوات دعم وتسليح وتمويل مليشيا الحوثي، وتمنع استخدام الأراضي والأجواء اليمنية لخدمة المشاريع التخريبية العابرة للحدود.
The Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council warned the Iranian regime of the consequences of continuing its escalatory approach, holding it and the Houthi militia fully responsible for all repercussions resulting from these violations, and for any threat to the security of Yemen, the region, and international peace and security.
The Presidential Leadership Council held an extraordinary emergency meeting chaired by the Council’s President, Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, with the attendance of all its members, to discuss the serious repercussions resulting from the Iranian regime’s decision to operate a direct flight to Sana’a Airport, which is under the control of the Houthi militia, in a blatant violation of Yemen’s sovereignty and a flagrant challenge to international law and relevant Security Council resolutions.
The Council listened to briefings from the Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Sha’if Al-Zandani, along with several ministers and heads of relevant agencies, regarding this serious escalation, which reaffirms the complete subordination of the Houthi militia to the Iranian project, prioritizing the interests of this regime over the interests of the Yemeni people, and using state institutions and outlets to serve its agenda that undermines Yemen’s sovereignty, security, and stability, according to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba).
The Council clarified that this violation is a continuation of the Houthi group’s behavior, which has consistently undermined all opportunities for peace and rejected regional and international initiatives aimed at ending the war, foremost among them the initiatives and diligent efforts led by the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and international partners to reach a lasting peace that ends the suffering of the Yemeni people.
The Council pointed out that instead of responding to those efforts, the Houthi militia has escalated its military actions, targeting maritime navigation and international trade, invoking international sanctions and isolation, exacerbating the economic and humanitarian crisis, and causing severe damage to the resources of the Yemeni people and its infrastructure, including ports, airports, and economic and service facilities, which has made it fully responsible for the actual siege that Yemenis are suffering from, and for the deterioration of living conditions and the widening scope of humanitarian suffering.
The Council indicated that this dangerous development does not target Yemen alone, but represents a direct threat to regional and international security, undermining international efforts aimed at de-escalation, and a new message confirming that the Iranian regime continues to violate international law and uses armed militias as a tool to destabilize, and that any understandings with this regime will not be sustainable unless accompanied by real mechanisms for deterrence and accountability.
The Council emphasized that the Yemeni state will bear its full constitutional and legal responsibilities in protecting its sovereignty and its exclusive rights to manage its airspace and outlets, confronting any attempts to infringe upon them, and taking all political, diplomatic, legal, and security measures guaranteed by international law to preserve the sovereignty of the Republic of Yemen and protect its legitimate institutions.
The Presidential Leadership Council praised the fraternal and pivotal role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, both in leadership and government, and the sincere and continuous efforts it has made to end the suffering and establish security and stability in Yemen and the region.
It also appreciated the role of the brothers and Yemen’s regional and international partners in supporting the Yemeni state and its legitimate institutions, affirming that these efforts have faced and continue to face the obstinacy of the Houthi militia and its complete subordination to the Iranian regime, calling on the United Nations, the Security Council, and all regional and international partners to bear their legal and moral responsibilities, and to move from condemnation to taking deterrent actions that halt Iranian violations, tighten oversight on channels of support, armament, and funding for the Houthi militia, and prevent the use of Yemeni land and airspace to serve cross-border destructive projects.
